Get the most out of your candle.

Remove leftover candle wax and reuse your candle jar!

Have you ever finished burning your favorite candle only to find a stubborn layer of wax left at the bottom of the jar? Don’t worry - we’ve got a simple and effective method to help you remove that leftover wax so you can reuse the beautiful jar!

Freeze the Candle Jar: Place your candle jar in the freezer for a few hours or overnight. The cold temperature will harden the remaining wax, making it easier to remove!

Pry the Wax: Once the wax is frozen, use a butter knife or a similar household item to gently pry the wax from the sides of the jar. Be careful not to apply too much pressure to avoid breaking the jar.

Break the Wax into Chunks: If the wax is difficult to remove in one piece, break it into smaller chunks for easier handling.

Soak in Hot Soapy Water or Use Rubbing Alcohol: To remove any stubborn wax residues, soak the jar in hot soapy water for about 10 minutes, or use rubbing alcohol to melt away small amounts of wax for easy cleanup. This will help loosen any remaining wax and make it easier to clean.

Wash and Dry: Finally, wash the jar thoroughly with soap and water, then dry it completely. Decorate your jar and use it as a stylish storage container!

3 Burning Tips!

Candles are a fantastic way to add fragrance and ambiance to your home, but sometimes, they don't seem to fill the room as much as you'd like. Here are 3 key things to keep in mind to ensure you're getting the most out of your scented candles:

1. Fragrance Oil Percentage Matters:

Look for candles with a higher percentage of fragrance oil. (Fun fact: We use a high percentage of fragrance oil in our candles!) This will directly impact the candle's strength and throw (the distance the scent travels). A higher percentage of fragrance oil generally translates to a stronger scent throw.

2. Size Matters - Match Candle to Room:

Just like filling a swimming pool with a bucket of water wouldn't work, a small tea light candle or a votive candle won't effectively fragrance a large room. Choose a candle size appropriate for the space you want to fill. Larger candles (like ours!) can be more effective in bigger rooms.

3. Burn Your Candles Regularly (Don't Let Them Gather Dust!)

While it might seem counterintuitive, candles that sit unused for long periods can lose their potency. Fragrance oils can evaporate over time, leaving behind just unscented wax. To maintain optimal scent throw, burn your candles regularly and enjoy their delightful aromas!

Why Wick Trimming Matters.

Keeping your candle wicks trimmed is the secret to a longer-lasting, soot-free, and beautifully fragrant experience. Here are three key reasons why it’s a must:

  1. Extend Candle Life: Trimming wicks prevent debris buildup, potentially making your candles last up to 25% longer. Say hello to more candlelit moments!

  2. No More Smoke and Soot: Regular trimming means no more battling stubborn soot stains on your candle jars and walls.

  3. Say Goodbye to Tunneling: Proper wick care ensures an even, full melt pool, avoiding that dreaded candle tunnel. A well-trimmed wick keeps
    your candle burning brilliantly.
